Bankcoin Reserve LLC providing $50M BCR in escrow as a foundation to ensure this vehicle finance program.
The “Auto Program” for the Indigenous population of Mexico is a social program designed to provide members of the Indigenous communities of Mexico with access to vehicle ownership at a fraction of its cost thanks to the efforts of Hipolito Arriaga Poté (National Indigenous Governor), Alberto Castellanos (Engineer and Secretary of Foreign Relations for the Gubernatura Nacional Indigena de Mexico), and Luis Galvis, Executive VP of Bankcoin Reserve LLC as well as Ambassador At-Large to the Gubernatura Nacional Indigena.
The Indigenous Citizen deposits 35% of the cost of the vehicle, then the vehicle manufacturer gives a discount of 10% of the vehicle cost and a 5% membership fee is given to the Gubernatura National Indigena for program management in order to cover 50% of the required value of the vehicle.
Automobile manufacturers participating in this program are General Motors, Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota and Hyundai. Additional manufacturers will be listed here soon.
The remaining 50% comes from ongoing projects funded by the Gubernatura Nacional Indigena (GNI). Indigenous citizens with professional licenses (such as doctors, nurses and other licensed professionals who participate in this program may also contribute 65% of their loan to the GNI by providing community services in the form of pro-bono professional hours in order to improve their community’s standard of living.
